In order to provide an advanced management not only of entities, but also of relations between entities, every entity from database can have attached any number of other objects from database. These attached objects are called "References".

For example, a Contact can have attached Documents, Tasks, Notes... and, more than that, can have attached any other Contacts. Entities that have attached References are specifically marked in the detailed visualizations with a paperclip icon.
